Welcome!

Joining a Stanford course as a non-degree student requires a brief two-step process.

• Step 1: Submit a short application, including a personal statement, your work experience, official transcripts, and residency documents.
• Step 2: Enroll in a course.

Note that your application will be reviewed only after you enroll. You will be notified before the start of the quarter whether your request to enroll has been approved or denied.

If you're interested in taking more courses in the future, the relevant academic department will review this same application and your Stanford transcript.

You may apply whether you reside in or outside the U.S. (Per federal and state law, enrollment restrictions may apply to applicants located in some states and countries.)
